About the piece
The Sword Bearer
The named sword is one of the oldest ideas we have. A blade that had been carried, inherited and used for something worth remembering stopped being equipment and became a witness — and bearing it was the honour, whatever happened afterwards. This warrior is imagined, but the weight in the hand is not.
The Sword Bearer holds an object older than the person holding it. Most inheritances work that way.
How the artwork is made
Modern tools. Irish creative direction.
Each work is imagined, directed, curated and edited in Ireland using modern digital creative tools, including elements of AI. The story, visual direction and final selection are shaped by The Celtic Factor.
