About the piece
The Sacred Ground
People paid to be buried close to a saint. Ground near the relics was believed to be better ground, and monasteries granted it to patrons, kings and anyone whose family could afford the arrangement — which is why the oldest graves cluster tightly and the later ones spread out in rings.
The Sacred Ground is a landscape where position in the field was a transaction.
How the artwork is made
Modern tools. Irish creative direction.
Each work is imagined, directed, curated and edited in Ireland using modern digital creative tools, including elements of AI. The story, visual direction and final selection are shaped by The Celtic Factor.
What you receive
A print presented deliberately.
Selected for rich colour, fine detail and a lower-reflection finish than high-gloss photo paper.
Supplied unframed and protected for delivery, with a branded story insert connecting the work to the wider TCF idea.
