About the piece
The Red-Haired Champion
The champion's portion — the curadmír — was the best cut of meat at the feast, and it was claimed rather than given. Whole stories turn on who reached for it and who would rather be humiliated than fight for it. This red-haired figure is imagined, standing in firelight at the edge of the trees.
The Red-Haired Champion is what certainty looks like in the moment before anyone tests it.
How the artwork is made
Modern tools. Irish creative direction.
Each work is imagined, directed, curated and edited in Ireland using modern digital creative tools, including elements of AI. The story, visual direction and final selection are shaped by The Celtic Factor.
What you receive
A print presented deliberately.
Selected for rich colour, fine detail and a lower-reflection finish than high-gloss photo paper.
Supplied unframed and protected for delivery, with a branded story insert connecting the work to the wider TCF idea.
