21 × 29.7 cm (8.3 × 11.7 in), printed in Ireland on heavyweight 275 gsm premium lustre art paper.

About the piece
The Last Light
The high crosses were carved to be read. Their panels were teaching surfaces for people who could not read a page, and they only resolve properly in low, raking light — which means for most of the day they are just stone, and for one hour they are legible. This warrior is imagined, standing in that hour.
The Last Light catches a landscape at the moment it briefly makes sense, as it has every evening since the crosses were cut.
How the artwork is made
