About the piece
The Sunset Valley
Under the penal laws Mass was said at rocks in remote valleys, with lookouts posted on the high ground. The sites were chosen for the same reason smugglers chose theirs — hard to reach, easy to watch, quick to leave. Many are still marked, and some are still used once a year.
The Sunset Valley is the kind of ground a congregation walked to when the alternative was not walking anywhere.
How the artwork is made
Modern tools. Irish creative direction.
Each work is imagined, directed, curated and edited in Ireland using modern digital creative tools, including elements of AI. The story, visual direction and final selection are shaped by The Celtic Factor.
What you receive
A print presented deliberately.
Selected for rich colour, fine detail and a lower-reflection finish than high-gloss photo paper.
Supplied unframed and protected for delivery, with a branded story insert connecting the work to the wider TCF idea.
