Light in the Grove
Ireland rarely abandoned a sacred place; it converted one. Churches went up on ground that had already been holy for a thousand years, wells kept their old names under new saints, and the trees around them were left standing. Nothing was replaced. Things were layered.
Light in the Grove shows a cross among trees that were there first, in an arrangement nobody in Ireland finds strange.
