The Misty Shore
At Inishmurray and elsewhere, pilgrims walked a fixed route between stations, stopping at each cross to pray before moving to the next. The turas was a circuit rather than a destination — you finished where you started, having covered several miles and arrived nowhere.
The Misty Shore shows the stations as they mostly are now: still in their order, with nobody walking the line between them.
