The Night Tower

The doors of Irish round towers are set several metres above the ground, reached by a ladder that could be pulled up. Whether that made them refuges from raiders or simply belfries built on a raised base is still argued by people who have spent careers on it. The towers themselves are not saying.

The Night Tower keeps the shape and withholds the reason, which is exactly what it has always done.
