21 × 29.7 cm (8.3 × 11.7 in), printed in Ireland on heavyweight 275 gsm premium lustre art paper.

About the piece
Sails on the Horizon
The Galway hookers carried turf. Their sails were brown because the canvas was dressed with tar and butter to keep the weather out, and the boats crossed the bay loaded with fuel for islands that had no trees. A working fleet, in a colour nobody chose for how it looked.
Sails on the Horizon puts dark sails on bright water, where they spent three hundred years.
