About the piece
Moon over the Causeway
Under the bogs are roads. The Corlea trackway in Longford is a timber causeway wide enough for a cart, felled and laid in 148 BC, and the peat kept the oak so well that the dates come off the tree rings. It sank within a decade of being built. Somebody's very large project, finished and lost inside a lifetime.
Moon over the Causeway follows a made road going out into water.
