About the piece
The Forest of Symbols
Later tradition gave every ogham letter the name of a tree — beith for birch, dair for oak, coll for hazel. Whether the first carvers intended it or the scholars invented it afterwards is still argued, but the effect is the same: an alphabet you could walk through, where reading and knowing the wood were the same skill.
The Forest of Symbols takes that idea literally and lights the path with it.
