21 × 29.7 cm (8.3 × 11.7 in), printed in Ireland on heavyweight 275 gsm premium lustre art paper.

About the piece
The Emerald Compass
The Irish word for a province is cúige, which means a fifth — a piece of arithmetic left over from when there were five, not four. Ireland has spent centuries with a name for a division that no longer quite exists, and has never bothered to correct it.
The Emerald Compass points four ways and remembers a fifth.
How the artwork is made
Modern tools. Irish creative direction.
