About the piece
Beneath the Ancient Stars
When Poulnabrone in the Burren was excavated, it held the commingled remains of at least thirty-five people — adults and children — placed there across some six hundred years. It was not a grave in the sense we use the word. It was an address that stayed open for twenty generations, and being put inside it meant joining people who had been dead for centuries already.
Beneath the Ancient Stars sits under a sky that is older again, which the builders knew perfectly well.
How the artwork is made
Modern tools. Irish creative direction.
Each work is imagined, directed, curated and edited in Ireland using modern digital creative tools, including elements of AI. The story, visual direction and final selection are shaped by The Celtic Factor.
